I used to watch "Saturday Night Dead" as well. The version with Ed and Ned was the second incarnation of the show, as far as I understand. The first version (that I know of) was hosted by a woman and was not nearly as funny or entertaining as the Ed and Ned years. We seem to be among the limited number of people who recall this show, as I can not find mention of it online either. I'm not sure what became of Ed and Ned, other than a quick bio I found on this page WHICH states that an actor named Kevin-Michael Moore was either Ed or Ned and is now in the 3rd Floor Sketch Comedy Troupe and The Gunhappy Theatrical Ensemble. I wish I could find some more info concerning the history of "Saturday Night Dead", I greatly enjoyed it. Years later, late 90's/Early 2000's the WB had another local in-house Horror/Sci-Fi host show called "Psychotronic Cinema" which was great, but apparently didn't pull in the viewers or revenue of infomercials, which I believe "Saturday Night Dead" also made way for.

Thanks for finding that, Zombie! I found another page, with his current comedy troupe, that includes a picture. Judging from that, he was Ned, which makes me wonder who Ed was and what ever happened to him. It's strange that a show like that would have so little reference online.

Kevin Michael Moore's picture with the 3rd Floor Comedy troupe is at:
